SQL InJecTion Problem
Just do what you were in the beginning of your topic with things like: index.asp?id=69 If you want to get a good grasp on mssql injections, you first have to understand that mssql is not generally used with php, it is used with asp. So you have to …

Yes, I'm afraid that is the case @Sh3ll. lol...that particular rule can be disabled though. It was just the default one, and it gives incentive for people to come visit. Now if only we had some kind of #RewardsProgram based on karma count...

So I wasn't sure where to put this...
If it was a notification from your anti-virus it may be an alert from something you just downloaded. I know that alert often pops-up when people download and install Cain & Abel. You'll have to give us more info to get any better advice tho…

[PDF] Advanced Perl Programming - O'Reilly
Having read this exact book before, I can vouch that it's a good read. It doesn't cover any advanced topics, but it is very good for intermediate level studies.

So THAT'S how this is done! I saw the base64 format at first, and when I decoded it I was like, "This is just a bunch of random text, I don't think this is what I was supposed to see." I will update as I continue the challenge, t…

Best universities for doing masters in Information security(need suggestion)
Hey mandi! Glad to have you back! Um...I don't know what country you're from, so it will be a little hard to recommend a university based on native language. However, I would highly recommend the National University of Singapore: Singapore…

Hello there :D
Welcome @Amara! Glad to have you here. :) We have a lot of really cool stuff here, but very little of it is beginner level. On the bright-side, if you ever have a question about anything, most of us are able to help. Just for lols, and because of …

E-book section?
Yeah we'll give it a try. I'll give you until the 6th of October for a trial run. After that if you inspire others (excluding myself), to post in that section, and keep it semi-active we'll keep it. Otherwise, I'll have to merge …

Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated bug
Sorry a_tek7, these are just general errors, and are generally only shown due to poorly written code. However, this does not mean there are not any vulnerabilities elsewhere. Granted you own the site/have permission from the owner it would be worthw…

How about some more competitions/challenges...
Xin and I have been talking about this a lot lately. We definitely want to do it, but Xin has been pretty busy with work/uni/other stuff lately, and I don't have access to the webhost. I think the best I could do on my own is throw together som…

[News] Backtrack 5 R3 Blackhat Edition Release Announced
The only issue I've had with atheros is being unable to connect to WEP networks. You can crack it, but you can't actually use it. XD

I also use Mint on my main box. It's really nice, and comes with lots of drivers. Oh yeah, and it's great for watching high-quality porn! :D
