Actually looks quite nice to be fair, il try it out, problem is though its gonna be slow as its way bigger and less stripped down than Backtrack.

BlackBuntu is more noob-friendly in my opinion. (more automated)
Also provides users with a big list of tools already installed with it.
I used it and I have to tell you that I liked it ;)
    Although, it has some negatives.
  • this is the kinda stuff that has turned me off to the whole hacking thing. it seems every day there is yet another "pen test suite" or OS out there just like the rest before it, only tweaked with a bit of cosmetic changes. i long for the day when this was all still new and not completely saturated with the same stuff like it is now

am i the only one on here with this opinion?

Isint backtrack enough? This one looks more user friendly though...
  • Backtrack should be more than enough, but again, this "hacking" market is now saturated with carbon copy tools. it is rather boring for me these days. i tend to stick with 1 or 2 main tools for my uses. i don't feel the need for 10 OS pen test kits and 12 port scanners/etc (they almost all do the exact same thing!)

Gotta say that does look like a carbon copy of ubuntu with tools added... I've done the same with linux mint.

    Have a look at this:

    1) Not you are not alone
    2) +agree. It's depended on what you feel/need/know.

I prefer building my own pentest OS from scratch anyway from my Ubuntu that way i know how to use all the tools i have.

Of course installing only the tools you need and you know to use is better.

    Off topic:
    Nice review ;)
