i check the IRC link you have on here from time to time, however ANY time i go in there it is completely dead! when is the best time to visit? i only have limited time available to me in the day after work to even bother looking at it, but i am curious when the best times are to even see activity there
(that's one reason i never cared for IRC...IDLE relay chat and it got boring pretty damn fast!)
never tbh. it's practically dead due to the low amount of users, so if you come looking for chat, it 'aint gonna work. idle, and you might see some activity (albeit rarely). personally i like the asyncronous nature of irc; to be able to sit in the background and pop in whenever i'm bored to see if there's anything of interest.
Well as I'm sure you've seen, I'm there 24/7. I use it a lot more than forums and seem to have taken it upon myself to register the channel. I'd be willing to setup and maintain a dedicated server for IRC if the demand gets there.
