    No special program but the Kasperskys firewall does the work for me as of now !:)
    btw... any suggestions for a firewall on UBUNTU system ??

    Have used Mcafee, Norton and Comodo. Now using Online Armor Firewall. I think personally it has great functionality for a free firewall. Especially if you use the built in program guard.

    IPTables, Avast (not the best, but in conjunction with windows firewall, and a proper set of policies it works wonders)

    I am not using software firewall except some settings in IPTABLES (I don't use Windows)
    I have only hardware firewall in my router
