I have a networked 1TB harddrive, and a simple bash script that starts pushing the backup to it upon logging in to my computer. No idea how much is on there though. :/ I don't use any cloud services.
I don't cloud and only back up to a single hidden True Crypt partition of 32 gigs for all my docs.
I try to keep my computer just for work docs and the essentials. Other software, movies, music and images I back up to a 250GB HDD in a hidden partition which I update regularly.

For copyright protection I use blank dvd's; importance dictates encryption or not. For random stuff, docs, code, ect.; various hard drives, some encrypted some not... I won't use cloud or online backups; and personally I will only use NAS servers for public or intranet access...
