Hide My Ass! about their logging policy
  • Today I read an article about hidemyass.com that claims to have been involved in identifying the suspected member of the hacker group LulzSec.
    I searched for an official statement and found this:

    I post it because everybody should think about their ways to get anonym on the net.
    Many operators of VPN- and Proxyservers are more talkative as you would think, if they are forced by law.

    Damn, i've used HMA before now.
  • Me too. But not for doing something illegal.
    The best way to become anonym, is to use TOR, Proxychain and open/cracked WLAN (with an access to the router for deleting the logfile) in combination.

    I've always known that these VPN providers will rat you out if they get approached by the agencies.
  • yeah is wide know that need more than one pxie to anonym the TOR + Proxie chain is the best option
