Haxme got owned

    If you would notice, Haxme.org got owned. I was able to read the defaced page before it got taken down and it said that the attack was done by a guy called "Tactical". As of the moment, their database has been deleted, probably 'coz haxme wasn't able to give the demands of the attacker.

    This stresses the importance of checking the security of your site often. Also, that of backing up. Just something I think people should be aware of.

    Shouldn't laugh really, could happen to anyone. What were his demands just out of curiosity?

    He had beef with RatDance, so he dared the guy to post a video on how the hack was done so as to prove how "1337" RatDance really is. Also, something about putting or removing something from Tactical's profile. Maybe they had a fight about something. I was able to log on for a little while and start discern that it may be because Tactical was accused of copying content from somewhere without credit.

    I don't know all the details, so these are just conjecture from observation.

    Yeah there seems to be a lot of that going on at the moment. I'll say no more for the time being as our issue is being dealt with ;)
