    Hello,

I've made many guides like this before, but searching through my posts, I've never made any tutorials on Firewire Security, so here we go. My first firewire tutorial!

    Step 1:
Go to: Start --> Right Click "Computer" & Select "Properties"

    Step 2:
    Now select "Advanced system settings"

    Step 3:
Select the "Advanced" tab and under Performance, click "Settings"

    Step 4:
Now select the box that says "Adjust for best performance" & click "Apply" and "Ok".

Note: You may wish to re-edit these settings as your appearance will change a lot.

You will notice a big change in speed, it helps such a lot.

Note: This does work on XP & Vista however, the layout may be slightly different.

    Regards,
    George, Firewire Security Admin.

You can adjust the apeareance quite easily if you want.

Right click your desktop, select personalize and choose a new theme, it doesn't hurt your system resources much I don't think.

    Good luck :)
