Hello fellow crackers! After I do my video tutorial series I might be making a Reverse Engineering video tutorial series. I am going through that phase where cracking is just this repetitive thing, so I've been programming. I'm saying "might" because I'm fairly certain that I'll be interested again soon...but you never know.

    Thanks!

Completely forgot about this post...because I just got back into the whole hacking "scene", but thanks for the idea. I'll try to get up a video/paper on that soon! :)

i use process monitor, not sure if it's similar, but allows me to view traffic from specific processes, file I/O functions, registry entries, etc. it's pretty useful, always my goto when i get paranoid about something.

i use process hacker always leads me to were malware located..
  • i use Process Explorer when i see a running service i am not familliar w/.
i then go into the section where you can see individual modules and i locate the section for "strings"

i almost always can spot something that doesn't look right just by seeing what the module/program has to offer. it does not always work however, because alot of times the modules are UPX packed
