My job isn't even that physically or mentally demanding...I get a good amount of walking in during the day, I like my job, I like most of the people I work with; so I figure bad stress is not a factor for my tiredness. On top of all of this, I normally get about 7 hours of sleep every night, but lately I've been getting 12 hours of sleep every night.
Any ideas for the cause? Does anyone else experience the same thing? Any solutions?
I usually sleep very little but sometimes one random event can break the routine and then i'll end up sleeping for like half the day... might be worth trying this, wake up one morning, go to work, come back after a normal day, and dont sleep. 48 hours without sleep won't make any difference to you (just don't make it any longer). Don't use stupidly-high caffiene based drinks to keep awake though. Lucazade should do, but don't over-do it otherwise you'll be buzzing your tits off for work the next morning lol. The next night go to bed at like 10-12(latest) pm and then sleep a normal night, set an alarm for the next morning. The next night do the same, sleep normally and get yourself into the routine. You'd say why not train yourself without the lack of sleep... if you body needs sleep you'll be more inclined to do so when you want to.

If it doesn't get better, go to a doctor. That can have lots of physical causes. Since it is no stress like you mentioned I also have no advice what you could try else.
