    It may take over my uBuntu pentest box, as i dont usually use backtrack. Il see how it goes :)

  • I've never been a fan of BackTrack mainly because it makes skids think they're "leet" with their green and black terminals and their preinstalled metasploit.

    Doesn't look that bad though.

    I have green and black terminal... even on winshit... although i actually had to install metasploit under mint, few other tools too :).

    I think i preferred my old mint to my new ubuntu, but ubuntus handier for its built in menu , mint looks way nicer though. Still got that little cow image on the consoles?

    Yeah i agree, thats one of the reasons i dont really use it, but that may change at 5

    i <3 BSD. I'd be using BSD right now but my harddrive is fucked up and I can't install anything -__- idk why. I'd say openBSD > FreeBSD but it's your choice. OpenBSD is geared more towards security.

    Not sure. I know the latest version is completely clean.

    The Backtrack roadmap shows it will be released somewhere in may 10th.

    I hope they make the iso smaller it's to big 2gb iso.
    The blog shows they will release a lighter fluxbox version can't wait.

    Looks super smexy! Wonder what the ISO size will be at, might have to beef up to a 8GB USB stick.
