Best SSH Program

    Hello,

    I've got an unmanaged VPS for my site and want to know what the best SSH program is, I tried PuTTY, but I didn't like it, it's in BETA/RC and it wouldn't perform commands some times, just frooze.

    I would like freeware software that's not in BETA/RC stage, stable would be good.

    I use ssh/openssh on *nix it comes preinstalled usually. But putty is the best for windows unfortunately.

    Putty is hands down the best for windows i'd say, and nix has it built in. the freezing is the server/connection rather than putty.

    Hang on, can you define whether it's server or client-side your wanting software for?

    I use OpenSSH on a nix vps and Putty for connecting to it. Never had any problem.
