My newest fluxbox setup. I couldn't get awesome working 100% so I think I'm going to stick with fluxbox.

Heh well you can easily change the transparency in .Xdefaults I like it how it is though.
Nice conky config mind pasting it here? Also thats a nice vulnerability addon to it ;)
Also is that the new version of Ubuntu(10.10) ?
I'd ditch gnome if I were you ;P

What did you use to put the folders like on the right side ?
Yeah it's not too bad, I prefer obssesively clean desktops. Some tools you might check out if you want to customise windows environments:
Fences - Great for organising files/shortcuts.
Rainmeter - Excellent for desktop customising, however you've got to spend a lot of time coding. It might be too hard for the average user.
@chronic: I like the green hexagon pattern, would make for nice neon green customising to the distro ;) Hackers style :P. Having said that your a hardcore *nix fan so the last may be better for you. It's nice shading. Don't like the wolf background, see too many old women with similar patterns on jumpers tbh lol.
@2good4u: Don't worry I gave up on rainmeter when I couldn't be bothered to code it. It's the windows version of conky which is linux based. I prefer linux so it was only natural i'd spend more time on conky code.
I like your new desktop chronic how much customisation did you do from the out of the box arch.
