X-Ploit Mag editor team?
  • Are we gonna have an editor team for X-Ploit Mag like Phrack does? Phrack has the Circle of Lost Hackers team that goes over every submission and replies to the person who submitted them. I like the idea of a small editor group that will handle the emails with the submissions and review them. Like we could have all submitters email their submissions to
    sumissions at iexploit.org

    Or something similar.

Yeah thats a good idea, but i cant see us getting that many submissions at these point in time so i dont think we need a group for it yet,

maybe we need to encourage our members to submit articles ;)
Or just make it really hard for someone to get his submission into the mag.

People always need an objective, or something that tells them that they did good.
You just have to make the members wanting to be in the magazine, then you will have a lot of submissions ;)

But idd, now it's a bit to early for that.
Right now, we just need to publish a few very good issue's that will make start talking about our mag (and our community)

Members will start submitting when they see the first mag. :)

  • How about lets get the first couple issues of the mag out with some papers we already have and the meet the staff sections and then we can open submissions by making a thread or something.

^ Excellent idea. Get it off the ground then worry about submissions/ quality control etc.

First few issues shouldn't take that much organising, it's when user's submit articles that it will need a team to organise it.

Yep. We should release the issues in volumes like phrack. For example they have volume one with issues 1-8.
