Finally building my own custom PC - Thoughts?? - Computing

So after a few years i'v finally got the money to build my own custom PC, as im not great with hardware i got a mate to come up with something. Heres what he made me...

HDD: 2TB

SSD(Windows Install): 120GB

Processor: Intel i5

Case: Aero-Cool X-Predator X1

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LX

RAM: 16GB

Operating System: Windows 7

Graphics Card: Still Unsure

It will also have a duel screen as i love duel screen. Let me know what you think, currently i have brought the RAM, SSD, Motherboard, Case & Disc Drive.

This is literally something i can't wait to have finished.

Yer my thoughts exactly, my SSD and Motherboard arrived today so that got me excited, will be ordering my power pack tonight :)

I personally would've spent extra on the CPU and mobo if you're spending the amount of cash you clearly are an Ivybridge i7 cpu would perform like a boss. The k range can be overclocked with very good results. I'm upgrading my 2700k to a 3770k though so I may be biased. Graphics card? Nvidia - no question. AMD doesn't get a look in anymore.

I now have everything except CPU, HDD and second 8GB ram :/ And im not going for i7 as i dont need. For what im using the machine for i5 with 16GB ram will be great.

Decided to add a second HDD to make a single Debian install on, actually cannot wait until i finish this, its gonna be awesome.
