Yes, I am for it. Now, instead of having the links at the bottom of each page (as is common with many forums), I've noticed with this forum layout, there is a slightly disproportional amount of space available on the left hand side of the screen. It might not be a bad area for affiliate links to be placed in that area, in a vertical fashion (although, now that I think about it, it may give the appearance of being cluttered). If not, a stand-alone affiliate's page would work great, as does the traditional placement at the bottom of each page. I'm just trying to think out of the box, and through out some innovation.
