I am running backtrack 5 KDE on my USB which I burned through universal USB installer 1.8.5.1, so I keep on reinstalling my .iso image because it becomes corrupt. I use it for about 3 times then it's dead, errors stopping me from running it.
I take it out safely when it's working but it still corrupts it. It's a 16GB kinston USB by the way.
I'm really confused to what it could be, slightly annoying.
Yeah try unetbootin. I've never used anything else. I must admit I had problems pretty much the same. The iso seemed to get corrupted when burning or after unmounting on the power down. Try using a live disc if it happens again. I run it from a live dvd now.
