    Hey iE,

So...when I was trying to get a LFS (Linux From Scratch) system made, I couldn't find my USB device in my BackTrack Virtual Machine. I then thought I saw it because it was an 8GB USB Device, so I used fdisk to delete all the old partitions on it. I did this because I was trying to make an LFS system a long time ago, but wanted to start fresh. I then had to get off, so shut down my VM and put my laptop to sleep...

Well, when I got back on my laptop I tried to boot into BackTrack. I was greeted by a GRUB Recovery... -_-

I did some looking around and saw that the VM...was also 8GB. So I feel pretty noob-ish right now. I recently moved, and have shitty public WiFi. So I'm not going to re-download BackTrack because 1) It's too big, so will take FOREVER to download, and 2) I don't really..."want" BackTrack.

So I'm currently downloading Kubuntu via wubi so I can run Kubuntu without partitioning anything. It just loads it into my Windows machine as a uninstallable program.

So, that's a little funny story I have, and wanted to know...what's to most "noob-ish" thing you've done *NIX-wise?

Noobish thing I ever did - when I first started programming I made a mail bomber and tried it out on one of my email accounts (thinking I'd limited it). Windows live blocked the account :(.

Linux specifically... not sure, probably MITM attack and dos'ing the target instead. Don't ask, long story - well it's not I'm just not telling lol.

Takes me back - the good times :).
