I've been sucked into the chaotic, and vicious circle we all know and fear as real life.
Think about it: My posts aren't as good as they once were. I haven't been steady with my exploit series. In all honesty I could have completed it about a month and a half ago. The amount of part 5 that I do have is me swearing at my computer for my mistakes.
Unrelated to the forums, I'm about 25 days behind on my PWB labs because I've been extremely apathetic lately.
I've also been considering buying a car. Very unusual for me because I don't like to spend large amounts of money. I've also been becoming more, and more attracted to Japanese girls (who isn't?). All I have to do to get a number is go for a walk downtown, and play the "I'm a stupid lost foreigner" game. It works almost every time.
What's really made me realize that I've been straying away from security though, is my recent urge to start working out, only to get hotter Okinawan girls' numbers.
Although, you can't really beat 20 dollars all you can drink every weekend at my favorite club here. Anyway guys, I see myself starting down the path to becoming a normal person once again, and I don't want to be.
Random thread lol, but yeah actually I did, been doing this (hacking) and similar for a long time now, I hit a bit of a rough patch recently actually. The problem is the course i'm on, It's getting to be so much of a boring course covering everything, and some parts of it I'll never need or use again. It made me think twice about a career in IT, but it's just a stepping stone to the degree i'll be starting (hopefully) in september, then I'll be studying actual INFOSEC material.
I've gotta say though I see women as a distraction in anything I do, I nearly smashed up my driving instructors car because I was eyeing one up... it'd have been worth it though, she was hot! Can't really give you advice though as I'm in a relationship with a child on the way.
You work in IT though don't you so just make sure it doesn't affect that :) Engineer or Techie wasnt it? It'll wear off and you'll get back to security :)
