    Hello,

I've used SiteGround for over a year now, they truely have been the best webhost I've ever used, I haven't been disappointed once, they continue to impress me. The support is brilliant, very fast responses, dedicated support teams, live chat, free support phone lines, that's just getting started.

Sounds a good host, the support with mine is a bit iffy, unmanaged VPS with them really means that. I've got good specs tho :)

Gotta say those semi-dedicated packages maybe seem a tad expensive I think anyway, especially for onshore.

I had a shared plan, however I didn't feel the need to get a VPS as the Shared hosting was very good. Resources were unlimited, except CPU usage and running processes, which wasn't really a problem as I was only running MyBB, about 95% of the time I was using less than half of the processes that I could get and that was with FTP running, 5-10 members online, etc so that worked well.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they cut script execution short, if you had a big database and tried to download a copy of it through the MyBB admin cp, not all of the database would be downloaded, on the VPS you don't get that issue though.

$29 per month for the Basic SD plan isn't too bad in my opinion.
