Question to Full Time Linux Users Regarding Syncing Ipods | Visual Studio Development

Im thinking of making the full plunge to linux as my main OS rather than just run it in virtual boxes. Im just figuring out how im going to run all the essential programs i run normally in Windows, and a lot of them are multiplatform anyway.

However how do you run your Itunes? Do you boot itunes up in wine every time you want to sync your ipod?

I know there are other linux music apps but they dont sync to ipods.

    ---

Also i have to do a lot of Visual Studio Development for my course would this be possible in linux?

iTunes is not supported on *nix I think there are other alternatives though.

    2)
No you cannot code visual studio on *nix. .NET programming isn't supported.

I think its a good idea to go to *nix completely. That's what I did and I love it.

Not to my knowledge. I'm 99% sure you can't code visual studio in *nix.

My first question would be what languages are you intending to write in using virtual studio?

Visual Studio is not just used for .Net framework programming. C++ would be an example. If your specifically looking for I'm guessing :P C# then maybe Mono may be of some help.
