    Yep. It's one of my favorite package managers. A simple pacman -S kde to install kde :P

    Portage is pretty good too. RPM is just too bloated(my opinion).

    Also, Yaourt is a great tool for Archlinux and it provides access to an additional 28,454 packages from AUR (Arch User Repositories. Yaourt is basically a frontend to pacman that lets you install AUR packages as well as packages from the normal repos.

    I've been using clyde this entire time it's pretty good. I've never tried Yaourt.

    Hmm you have to be root to run clyde, that kind of sux. With yaourt, you build the package as the user then you are only asked for the password when you install/remove a package. Yaourt can be used in place of pacman but is more of an addition instead of a replacement. I have been using it for 3 years now and it works beautifully.
