IRC problem!

    I keep getting this message when i try to connect to IRC: "Closing Link: alix10[ircip2.mibbit.com] (You look like a bot. Be sure to fill in your nick/ident/realname properly.)"

    I tried so many other nick-names but still same error..

    I'm no IRC expert but i'll try and have a go at helping...

    Try entering your username, when it connects try /nick nickname and then /msg nickserv identify password

    Tried that? Does it work? Otherwise i'm out of ideas.

    that's strange, i just tried a mibbit connection and it worked for me. afaik (in mibbit) ident/realname is set automatically and cannot be changed, so i don't know what to suggest, other than: try with a _real_ client.

    It connects to Hackforums IRC, but not IE

    Use IRC client lika xchat.

    I used the flash-irc-chat and connected to me IE/Poison fine earlier.

    Happened to me as well but just use a proper IRC client then it will work, i don't know why but evilzone does'nt like mibbit clients
