For the actual pages like level1.php, not the joomla side.

I think it can be improved and what are your suggestions?

For example maybe a brief description on each one of the attack and sources to read up on to help you, or change the font colour etc.

I think it'd be nice to give a description, a hint and then resources the read up on. For example, for level 1 we could do something like:
Description: Hey, I need a hacker to get into my friends login system. Thanks!
Hint: Luke, use teh sauce
Resources:
Crawling source
IFRAMEs

That way the user gets some insite, a hint and learns by reading.
