The selena gomez hack

    So this guy over at skidforums, prokill, 'hacked' Selena Gomez's facebook account. Everyone is acting like it is such a big deal and like he's a "l33t" hax0r. He used a well known method that I've used a bunch of times to fuck with my friends. Why does everyone think he's amazing? And now he's making posts saying he got messages from twitter and shit(which I highly doubt). Anybody else feel as though it's getting more attention than it deserves?

    ...He reversed the account? "Hacked an account in less than24 hours". He definitely is if it is the same method. It takes less intelligence than someone watching me type my password in.

    Lol. Also, everyone on the thread is saying to release emails from her to justin bieber to know what they're doing. They need to grow the fuck up and realize that they're teenagers(well maybe not bieber), and they're probably fucking like every other day. Lol.

    chronic... you have to remember the average age of SF members :P Nothing honestly surprises me on there anymore. I remember when some guy convinced half the ub3rs/l33ts he'd hacked a russian satelite oh and then there's the guy who claimed he hacked a google rsync server lol.

    Lol I'm pretty sure they're like all 13. Except maybe for a couple users.

    There into that thing as most of them still watch the disney channel. They dont understand that hacking a celebrities facebook is no harder than any other person.

    because we live in a time where any kid can point his Metasploit at a target, hit the OWN button, and afterwards be mentioned on CNN with "hacker" across the TV screen (while Kevin Mitnick breaks out the "security" portion of the story)

    because we live in a time where any kid can point his Metasploit at a target, hit the OWN button, and afterwards be mentioned on CNN with "hacker" across the TV screen (while Kevin Mitnick breaks out the "security" portion of the story)


    However... the 'hackers' wouldn't be caught so I'd get used to see kids get owned on tv for failing to se metasploit someone or ddos'ing mastercard (recently happened) if I were you ;)

    I don't see the problem with KM, he's earned the right to work his story in my mind. He's a security consultant and ex-'hacker' from the FBI most-wanted, so it's natural the media would jump on him like a donkey on heat when a story about some kid hacking comes along.

    but the problem is, he acts like what those kids are doing is somehow important. he never downplays it like he should. i admire Mitnick on one level, but he got caught because he liked to brag. that loses points with me

    Yeah I hear what your saying, maybe it's because over in UK we don't get to see KM on tv lol. We get some security professional in a suit when we get news like that.

    Its human nature to want to seem superior to people you know. That's why everyone brags at one point of there lives. I brag all the time lol.
