What do you think about using boxless pcs such as the one on hak5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-prWdbxu30&feature=sub on the back wall.

They look cool and it saves space but is it practical, they can get dusty fast and its a hazard if you touch live wires.

I may comprimise with a half and half
