The history behind it is at the end, to make reading easier.

Problem: BIOS password no longer works after deleting system fies.

Question: Is it true that replacing the BIOS chip or mother board will do nothing if the BIOS is"embedded like IMB one's". That is what the IT store owner told me.

I took my laptop to the shop and explained what happened he said "in that case you probably have to throw it away"
I said: Isn't there anything that can be done?
To which he replied that he can try to replace some chip but that it might not work "if the BIOS is embedded like IBM ones" and if it is I can throw it away.

History:I was readying my laptop for a Linux distro and was permanently decrypting my hard drive. It was taking long so I decided to delete everything I could while I waited including system files. To maybe speed it up as I figured I had already backed up my personal files and what would it matter I'd be installing a new OS and using DBAN. In doing so I removed what I think was the 'file'? that keeps the BIOS password as it no longer works. I also ended up deleting the TrueCrypt keyfile but have a backup of it on the pc I'm using to write this and luckily made a rescue disk.

We all trust Microsoft Office with our most important documents,
spreadsheets, E-mail and presentations since it allows users to set
passwords for preventing their important Office files from opening or
modifying etc. After we have learned how to easily set password for
Excel, here I would like to share some knowledge about remove Excel password
with you all if you think you have decided to enable others to view or
edit your files or you just have got bored entering password or password
again when opening files and then you can remove Excel file password to
give them full access.

To remove Excel worksheet password, if we know its password, then it
turns quite easy to make it. Below are some ways to delete different
types of Excel passwords.

Method 1: Remove “Password to Open” or “Password to Modify” from “Save As”.

Both “Password to Open” and “Password to Modify” require users to
enter password when open the spreadsheet. If you don’t think these 2
kinds of password should still be there, then follow the below steps to
remove them:

Step1: After open the target spreadsheet the click the Microsoft Office button and then click “Save As” next.

Step2: Click “Tools” and then click “General Options”.

Step3: When the “General Options” window prompts, you will see the
“Password to Open” or “Password to Modify” or even both of them with
asterisk. All you need do is just to clear the asterisk. Next click “OK”
and then save the settings and exit.

Method 2: Remove “Protect Worksheet” or “Protect Workbook” from “Review” tab.

These two types of passwords are set to protect the worksheets in
your important Excel spreadsheet from being changed, modified, deleted,
added, or hidden from unauthorized access. If you want to remove these
passwords, you can follow the below:

Step1: Open the target spreadsheet and then click “Review” tab.

Step2: Step2: Select “Unprotect Worksheet” or “Unprotect Workbook”
option, next in the pop-up password box type the “Protect Worksheet” or
“Protect Workbook” password. Then just click OK to end.

Method 3: Remove all types of passwords when you forgot them with “Excel Password Recovery Professional” tool.

This is a special case when you forgot the password for your Excel
spreadsheet. Both method 1 and 2 require a password when removing it.
While if the password is forgotten or lost, one should take some
professional Excel Password Recovery tool to decrypt it.

Speaking to the tool to recover forgotten Excel password, I here humbly
recommend “Excel Password Recovery Professional” which is a powerful
tool designed to both remove and recover forgotten Excel password
quickly and easily. If you show large interest in such tool, you can
visit this website to learn how to remove Excel password with Excel Password Recovery Professional with minutes: http://www.recoverlostpassword.com/products/excelpasswordrecovery.html

Article Source: http://blog.recoverlostpassword.com/remove-excel-password.html

Suppose if you forgot Windows 7 password, you would try
to find solutions to recover or reset it through the internet. Soon you
would find one solution—using Windows 7 password reset USB
disk, which is most mentioned by people. So here in this article, I
will show you the exact ways to create a Windows 7 password reset disk.

Theoretically, a password reset disk Windows 7 can be
made with a CD/DVD or USB flash drive. Since USB flash drive is more
convenient to carry and safer to preserve, here I highly recommend
creating a Windows 7 reset password with USB to prevent your computer from being locked. Below are guides on how to create a Win 7 password recovery USB.

Scenario 1: If you haven’t forgotten your Windows 7 password yet.

At this situation, you can easily make such a password reset USB disc
for free to prevent your computer from being locked. Now please follow
the below steps:

Step1: Insert the prepared USB flash drive into your computer.

Step2: Type “reset” in the Windows search box and select “Create a password reset disk”.

Step3: When the “Forgotten Password Wizard” appears, click “Next”.

Step4: Select your USB flash drive and click “Next”.

Step5: Once the wizard finishes creating the reset disk, click “Next” then “Finish”.

Scenario 2: If you have already forgotten your Windows 7 password.

Many computer users actually didn’t take any precautions against
Windows 7 password forgotten problem before they find they’ve lost or
forgotten the password. So if you don’t have such a password reset disk
when you forget or lose your Windows 7 password, you need to seek for
other ways to make one and then use that to reset Windows 7 password,
say a professional Windows password recovery tool—Windows Password
Recovery Enhance.

Here’s how to create a reset password Windows 7 USB with Windows Password Recovery Enhance.

Step1: Download, install and launch Windows Password Recovery Enhance on an accessible computer.

Step2: Insert the early prepared USB flash drive to the accessible PC.

Step3: Choose “USB Flash Drive” button to select
your USB, next click “Burn” button to initiate the burning process.
(Burn the image file of Windows Password Recovery Enhance to USB.)

Step4: Soon you will receive a message box showing
“Burning successfully completed”. Until now it means you have
successfully created a Windows 7 password recovery USB. Next, just click
“Ok” to end to process and then take out the USB from PC.

That’s all about how to create password reset USB disk for Win 7. If you are interested in how to use a reset Windows 7 password USB for lost Win 7 password recovery, you then can refer to:

http://www.windowspasswordrecovery.net/support/enhanceuserguid.html

Source: http://www.windowspasswordrecovery.net/article/reset-win-7-password-with-usb.html

Hello guys.

I took the time to translate (and adjust to make it understandable) my notes from my course of studies into english. This is the first part, the introduction and the overview about AI.

Don't be disappointed if you are looking for practical stuff.
